How to Get Your Pay Stub From Albertsons
Albertsons uses myACI, not Direct2HR: direct2hr.albertsons.com no longer resolves. Why the employee site says Access denied, and how former staff ask.
Albertsons runs employee self-service under the name myACI, and the Direct2HR name still printed on most pages is gone at the DNS level: direct2hr.albertsons.com does not exist on any public resolver. The practical route in is the myACI app from your phone's app store, or the in-store people lead, rather than a typed web address. Be warned that Albertsons fronts its employee sites with a security service that rejects VPNs and unusual networks outright - a blocked page is often the network, not your account.
If you no longer work there
myACI sign-in is tied to an active employee ID, and payroll deactivates that record when employment ends, so a former Albertsons employee should expect the self-service route to be closed rather than merely forgotten. The working route is a person. Contact the store you worked at and ask for the people lead or the store director, then ask them to route a records request to division HR or the employee service centre, which is where payroll history for a store is held. Give them your employee ID, the store number, your dates of employment and the exact pay dates you need - a request for "my pay stubs" with no dates attached is the one that stalls. Ask how the copies will be delivered and to which address, and update your mailing address at the same time if it has changed. Keep a W-2 request separate and say so explicitly: a W-2 summarises a tax year and is not a substitute for an individual pay statement, and asking for both in one breath often gets you only the W-2.
Addresses that no longer work
- Direct2HR (direct2hr.albertsons.com) — Does not exist. NXDOMAIN on the system resolver, 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 - it does not redirect to myACI, because there is no record to redirect from. albertsons.com has no wildcard DNS (a nonsense subdomain also returns NXDOMAIN) and www.albertsons.com resolves normally in the same test, so the subdomain was genuinely removed. A browser reports that the site cannot be found.
- hr.albertsons.com — NXDOMAIN on all three resolvers, same as Direct2HR. Nothing is served and nothing forwards. So do careers.albertsons.com, benefits.albertsons.com and identity.albertsons.com, all of which appear in older write-ups and none of which exist any more.
- direct2hr.opc.albertsons.com — The one Direct2HR name still in DNS - it resolves (NOERROR) - but it is not a public sign-in page. Every request from the public internet returned HTTP 403, with no login form served. Treat a page that will not load here as internal-only rather than as your account being broken.
When the page will not load at all
Albertsons puts its employee-facing hosts behind Imperva's Incapsula service, and that service is aggressive. From a datacentre address, every attempt here - command line and fetch tool alike - came back HTTP 403 with a short block page reading "Request unsuccessful. Incapsula incident ID:" followed by a long reference number, and the same block hit all eight sibling banner domains. In practice this means a corporate VPN, a privacy VPN, or an unusual mobile route can produce a blank or denied page that has nothing to do with your credentials. Turn the VPN off, use ordinary home or cellular internet, and try again before assuming your account is closed.
FAQ: Why will the Albertsons employee site not load?
Because a security service in front of it decided your connection looked automated. Albertsons' employee hosts sit behind Imperva's Incapsula, which answers with HTTP 403 and a short block page quoting an incident ID rather than serving a login form. VPNs, corporate networks and some datacentre routes trigger it reliably. Switch to home broadband or cellular data with any VPN disabled. If the block persists on an ordinary connection, quote that incident ID when you contact the service centre.
Frequently asked questions
Is Direct2HR still how I check my Albertsons pay stub?
No. Albertsons moved employee self-service to myACI, and the Direct2HR hostnames were retired rather than redirected. direct2hr.albertsons.com returns NXDOMAIN on three independent resolvers, so your browser reports that the site cannot be found. Searching for Direct2HR now mostly surfaces third-party sites reusing the name, none of which are Albertsons. Use the myACI app, or ask your store's people lead to open a ticket with the service centre.
Why does the Albertsons employee site show "Access denied"?
Because a security service in front of it decided your connection looked automated. Albertsons' employee hosts sit behind Imperva, which returns an "Error 16" denial page carrying your IP and an incident ID rather than a login form. VPNs, corporate networks and some datacentre routes trigger it reliably. Switch to home broadband or cellular data with any VPN disabled. If the denial persists on an ordinary connection, report the incident ID when you contact the service centre.
I no longer work at Albertsons. How do I get an old stub?
myACI access follows your employee ID, and payroll deactivates it when employment ends, so plan on asking a person. Contact the store you worked at, ask for the people lead or store director, and request that they route it to division HR or the employee service centre. Give your employee ID, store number, dates worked and the exact pay dates. A W-2 request is a separate ask; do not assume one produces the other.
