How to Get Your Pay Stub From Burger King

Burger King's biggest franchisee is now corporate. Carrols publishes my.adp.com for pay statements and W-2s, while ess.burgerk.com and bkcareers.com dead-end.

Burger King is the rare case where the answer changed because the employer changed. Carrols Restaurant Group, for years the largest Burger King franchisee in the United States, stopped being a franchisee on 16 May 2024 - Restaurant Brands International bought it, and Carrols now describes itself as an RBI subsidiary rather than a franchisee. Its published employee portal at carrols.com/Home/Employee sends you to my.adp.com for pay statements and W-2 downloads. If a different operator hired you, RBI's fiscal 2025 annual report is blunt: "Our franchisees are independent business owners that separately employ team members in their restaurants."

If you no longer work there

Start with the payroll system you already used, because ADP access often survives separation for a while and an old login may simply still work. Carrols' own employee portal publishes my.adp.com as the place to "Access your pay summary or download your W-2 online", so sign in there directly on ADP's site rather than through anything Burger King-branded, and download the statements before access lapses. If the login is gone, Carrols publishes a corporate number, +1 315 424 0513, at 968 James Street, Syracuse, New York; ask for payroll, and have the restaurant number and town where you worked ready along with the pay dates you want. Expect an ownership split. RBI said it would refranchise the majority of the acquired Carrols restaurants over seven years, so a restaurant that was Carrols in 2024 may have a different operating company on a later W-2 - check the employer name and EIN on each year's form, because each employer holds only its own records. If a different franchisee employed you throughout, no RBI or Carrols contact will help: that operator chose its own payroll provider and holds the stubs.

Addresses that no longer work

  • ess.burgerk.com - published almost universally as "the Burger King employee self-service pay stub login" — Still resolves and still answers, but it is a legacy system Carrols no longer publishes. Fetched: https://ess.burgerk.com/ returns HTTP 200 after 2 redirects, final URL https://ess.burgerk.com/ess/, whose entire 217-byte body is <META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="0; URL=./default.aspx"> plus the line "The page you requested has moved." Response headers show server: Microsoft-IIS/10.0 and last-modified: Fri, 15 Mar 2024 - that stub has not changed since two months before RBI completed the Carrols acquisition. https://ess.burgerk.com/default.aspx lands in exactly the same place. The real application at https://ess.burgerk.com/ess/default.aspx is HTTP 200 with <title>Sage Employee Self Service</title>, and is an HTML <frameset> framing scripts/Logon.aspx, generated by "Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 7.1". Carrols' own employee portal page links my.adp.com for pay statements, not this.
  • bkcareers.com / careers.bk.com - the Burger King careers address still cited as an employee login — Dead-ends on an error. http://bkcareers.com returns HTTP 301 to https://careers.bk.com/, which returns HTTP 403 with a body of exactly "403 Forbidden". http://www.bkcareers.com returns HTTP 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable. Burger King's own careers page at https://www.bk.com/careers is a separate address and loads normally, but it is for job applications and holds no pay records.
  • mybk.com - cited as a Burger King employee login — Not Burger King's. Fetched: HTTP 200, but the whole 114-byte document is <script>window.onload=function(){window.location.href="/lander"}</script>, and /lander sets window.LANDER_SYSTEM="PW" and pushes {ap:"parking"} to a tracking layer - a domain-parking monetization page. WHOIS shows registrar GoDaddy.com, LLC, registrant organization "Domains By Proxy, LLC", nameservers NS65.DOMAINCONTROL.COM. Do not enter credentials there.
  • myburgerking.com - cited as a Burger King employee portal — Listed for sale. Fetched over both HTTP and HTTPS: 2 redirects to https://forsale.godaddy.com/forsale/MYBURGERKING.COM?traffic_id=GoDaddy_DLS..., GoDaddy's domain-for-sale landing service. WHOIS: registrar GoDaddy.com, LLC, registrant organization "Domains By Proxy, LLC". It is a domain on the market, not an employee system.
  • bkemployee.com — The domain does not exist at all. Asked for on Google's, Cloudflare's and Quad9's public resolvers alike, the answer is that there is no such name - not an empty record, simply nothing registered - so there is no server to reach and nothing to serve.

Carrols' own portal names the pay system, and it is ADP

carrols.com/Home/Employee is a plain tile page titled Employee Portal - Carrols Corporation, and the tile you want reads "Online Pay Statement - Access your pay summary or download your W-2 online". It links to my.adp.com, which hands off to ADP's own sign-in. That is the entire route, and the useful thing about it is what is missing: no Burger King-branded page appears anywhere in the chain, and nothing on bk.com leads here. Once you know your account is on ADP, going straight there is quicker than going through the portal, and it keeps working from a personal phone or laptop after you no longer have a reason to visit a Carrols page.

Two different passwords at a Carrols restaurant

The same portal offers "Authentication Services - Reset your network password (not My Schedule password)", and that parenthesis is doing a lot of work. The scheduling app you use to see shifts is a separate account from the network credential, and neither of them is your ADP sign-in, which has its own password and its own recovery flow. People hunting an old stub routinely reset one of the first two, get nowhere, and conclude they have been locked out of pay altogether. If the tile you need is Online Pay Statement, the password that matters is the ADP one. The portal carries several other destinations - Benefits, REAP, PayActiv, the BK Emergency Fund application and PerkSpot - and none of them stores a pay statement either.

Who employed you, and why it decides everything

Over 95% of RBI's system-wide restaurants were franchised in fiscal 2025, and its annual report states that "Our franchisees are independent business owners that separately employ team members in their restaurants." So unless your W-2 names Carrols, a corporate phone number will only send you back to the operator. Read box c of your W-2: that company name and its EIN tell you which payroll office to call. Independent Burger King operators choose their own systems, so there is no single login to try. The fastest way in is usually the general manager of the restaurant you worked at, who knows which company processes the payroll and can hand you its office number - that name, not Burger King's, is the one you chase.

Frequently asked questions

Is ess.burgerk.com still the Burger King pay stub site?

It answers, but it is legacy. Its entry page is a 217-byte meta-refresh stub last modified 15 March 2024, and the application behind it is a Sage Employee Self Service frameset built with Visual Studio .NET 7.1. More telling, Carrols' own employee portal does not link it any more - the Online Pay Statement link there points to my.adp.com, which is where pay summaries and W-2 downloads live.

I worked at a Carrols Burger King. Who has my records now?

Carrols Corporation still does, and it is now a subsidiary of Restaurant Brands International rather than an independent franchisee. Its employee portal routes pay statements and W-2s through ADP at my.adp.com, and its published corporate number is +1 315 424 0513 in Syracuse, New York. One wrinkle: RBI said it would refranchise most of those restaurants over seven years, so a store that was Carrols in 2024 may name a different employer on your later W-2.

Why does bkcareers.com not load?

It redirects, then stops. bkcareers.com returns a 301 to careers.bk.com, which serves a bare "403 Forbidden" page and nothing else, while www.bkcareers.com answers 503. Burger King's own careers page at bk.com/careers does load normally, but it is a place to apply for a job, not a place to fetch earnings. None of these is a payroll address in any case; a hiring site does not hold pay statements.
