How to Get Your Pay Stub From Delta Air Lines

Delta pay stubs are at epaystubs.delta.com, which signs you in via ssaa.delta.com. dlnet.delta.com refuses connections. Retiree registration explained here.

Delta runs a host whose name says exactly what it is: epaystubs.delta.com. It forwards to /dlpersonalinfo and then to Delta's sign-in at ssaa.delta.com, titled Delta Log In, which wants a Delta user ID or nine-digit PPR number. Nearly every competing page still sends people to dlnet.delta.com instead. That name resolves, but nothing answers on it - connections to port 443 and port 80 are both refused. Delta's own log-in help page says registration is available only to Delta employees, retirees and authorized contractors and vendors, so retirees are explicitly included.

Current employees

If you no longer work there

Delta's own log-in help page (fetched, HTTP 200, title "Delta Log In Help") puts retirees in the same eligibility sentence as employees: "Registration is available only for Delta employees, retirees and authorized contractors and vendors." It adds that "A Delta user ID/ 9-digit PPR number and password is used to access the system" and warns that "You may need a PIN from your HR department first", with registration and password recovery handled at register.delta.com (fetched, HTTP 200, "Register Account Portal"). For the self-service path itself, the clearest published description comes from the Delta Retirees Connection (DALRC, Inc.), an independent retiree association rather than Delta: it instructs alumni to open the DeltaNet for Alumni home page, click Self Service on the menu bar and then My Money, where paycheck receipts, W-2s and 1099s sit together, and it lists [email protected] and an Employee Service Center help line on 1-800-693-3582. Treat those contacts as the association's published information, not Delta's own page. Two names to ignore entirely: retirees.delta.com and alumni.delta.com do not exist.

Addresses that no longer work

  • DLnet (dlnet.delta.com) — DNS still answers — the name resolves to 170.41.253.228 — but the host serves nothing. curl fails in roughly a tenth of a second with "Failed to connect to dlnet.delta.com port 443: Couldn't connect to server" (exit code 7), and the same on port 80. The connection is refused outright, not merely slow, so there is no redirect to follow. This is the single most-republished Delta employee address online and it produces a browser error, not a login.
  • retirees.delta.com and alumni.delta.com — Neither hostname exists. Both return NXDOMAIN on 1.1.1.1 and curl fails with exit code 6, "Could not resolve host". Delta does use the word "alumni" for former employees, but not as a domain of its own, so any link built on these names has never resolved.
  • DeltaNet (deltanet.delta.com) — Alive, but no longer a Delta-hosted page. It returns HTTP 302 to login.microsoftonline.com carrying WHR=urn:federation:DeltaSSAA and a wreply pointing at https://deltaairlines.sharepoint.com/sites/DL000883 — DeltaNet is now a SharePoint Online site behind Microsoft sign-in. People searching for a Delta-branded DeltaNet login page get Microsoft's instead, which is expected behaviour rather than a fault.

Three Delta addresses, one that actually works

Three Delta addresses circulate, and only one of them is a pay stub route. epaystubs.delta.com is the live one: it redirects to /dlpersonalinfo, shows an Authentication Redirect interstitial, and finishes on Delta's sign-in panel headed Authorized Delta Account Information. dlnet.delta.com still has a DNS record pointing at 170.41.253.228, but the server refuses connections in about a tenth of a second on both HTTPS and HTTP - a browser error page, not a login. deltanet.delta.com is alive yet is no longer a Delta-hosted page at all: it redirects to Microsoft's sign-in and, behind it, to a SharePoint Online site under deltaairlines.sharepoint.com.

Registration, the PPR number and the alumni path

Delta's log-in help page, at ssaa.delta.com/systemmsg/help.html, is short and worth reading before you try anything. It limits registration to Delta employees, retirees and authorized contractors and vendors; it says a Delta user ID or nine-digit PPR number plus a password gets you in; and it warns you may need a PIN from your HR department before registering. Registration and password recovery run through register.delta.com, which loads as the Register Account Portal. The independent Delta Retirees Connection, a retiree association rather than Delta itself, publishes the alumni path as DeltaNet for Alumni, then Self Service, then My Money for paycheck receipts, W-2s and 1099s.

Frequently asked questions

Is dlnet.delta.com still Delta's employee site?

No. The hostname still resolves to a Delta address, which is why it looks plausible, but nothing is listening: a connection attempt is refused almost instantly on both port 443 and port 80, so you get a browser error rather than a sign-in page. The working pay stub address is epaystubs.delta.com, which ends at Delta's own log-in page on ssaa.delta.com.

What is the PPR number Delta's login asks for?

Delta's log-in help page does not define it. All it says is that a Delta user ID or nine-digit PPR number, plus a password, is used to access the system, and that you may need a PIN from your HR department before you can register. If you no longer have either, start at register.delta.com and use the password recovery link there rather than guessing at the number.

Can Delta retirees still get pay stubs and W-2s?

Delta's own help page puts retirees in the same sentence as employees when it lists who may register, so retiree access is not an afterthought. The Delta Retirees Connection, an independent retiree association, describes the route as the DeltaNet for Alumni home page, then Self Service on the top menu bar, then My Money, where paycheck receipts, W-2s and 1099s sit together. Note that retirees.delta.com and alumni.delta.com are not real addresses.
