If you no longer work there

Go to Home Depot's HR site myTHDHR.com and open the Self Service page (https://www.mythdhr.com/ESS.html). It carries two separate links: "Workday - Active associates" and "Workday - On Leave & Former associates". Former associates use the second one, https://wd5.myworkday.com/wday/authgwy/homedepot/login.htmld?redirect=n — the ?redirect=n sends you to a direct Workday sign-in instead of the corporate SSO that ex-associates no longer have. Once in Workday, payslips and W-2s are under Pay / "Pay and Taxes": myTHDHR states "Via Self Service, you may: ... view/print payslips" and "W-2 statements can be viewed/printed via Self Service". If you cannot sign in, myTHDHR says "If you are unable to view/print your payslips or W-2 statements contact the HR Service Center" — 1-866-myTHDHR (1-866-698-4347) or [email protected], Mon-Fri 8am-6pm ET. Home Depot's own Termination page also says to "Contact the HR Service Center at 1-866-myTHDHR (1-866-698-4347) to update your address so that your W-2 can be delivered to you," and that "Your final pay (including vacation pay if applicable) will be available at your work location on your next regularly scheduled pay day unless earlier payment is required by state law." For third-party income/employment verification (lenders, landlords) Home Depot uses The Work Number by Equifax, company code 87843 — you can pull your own Employment Data Report at employees.theworknumber.com; that is a verification report, not a pay stub.

Addresses that no longer work

• myTHDHR Self Service (old SharePoint .aspx URL) — 302 redirects to http://www.mythdhr.com/ESS.aspx.html, which returns HTTP 404 Not Found. The chain is a dead end. The live page is https://www.mythdhr.com/ESS.html (200).
• Live the Orange Life (Home Depot benefits portal) — 302 redirects to https://secure.livethehealthyorangelife.com/, which 302 redirects again to https://learn.bswift.com/orangelife (bswift-hosted "Benefits4U"). The domain no longer serves its own content. It is also benefits-only — the page has no payslips or payroll; competitors that cite livetheorangelife.com as a pay stub source are wrong.
• myTHDHR Pay and Taxes (old SharePoint .aspx URL) — 302 redirects to http://www.mythdhr.com/pay-taxes/Pages/default.aspx.html. The content still loads, but the .aspx URL competitors publish is no longer canonical — myTHDHR was migrated off SharePoint to a static .html mirror.
• MyApron (Home Depot associate intranet) — DNS does not resolve (ENOTFOUND). myapron.com and www.myapron.com both time out from the public internet. MyApron is an in-store/internal-network intranet, not a public pay stub portal — articles telling people to "log into MyApron" from home for a pay stub are sending them nowhere.

Where Home Depot pay stubs actually live

myTHDHR.com is Home Depot's HR site, and its Self Service page at https://www.mythdhr.com/ESS.html is the only jumping-off point you need. That page carries two separate Workday links: "Workday - Active associates" and "Workday - On Leave & Former associates". Both land on Workday's homedepot sign-in, but the active one routes through Home Depot's corporate SSO first. myTHDHR's own Pay and Taxes page (https://www.mythdhr.com/pay-taxes/Pages/default.aspx.html) confirms what Self Service covers: setting up or changing payment elections, viewing and printing payslips, and viewing or updating tax withholding elections. The same page states that W-2 statements can be viewed and printed through Self Service too, so one login handles your stub, your W-2, your direct deposit and your withholding.

Getting a payslip after you have left Home Depot

Start at the same Self Service page, but take the second link: "Workday - On Leave & Former associates", which points to https://wd5.myworkday.com/wday/authgwy/homedepot/login.htmld?redirect=n. The ?redirect=n on the end is the part that matters. Without it, Workday hands you off to Home Depot's corporate identity provider, which is exactly the login a departed associate no longer has; with it, you get a direct Workday sign-in page. Inside, payslips and W-2s sit under Pay and Taxes, the same place they were when you worked there. Two other things Home Depot's own termination page tells former associates: call the HR Service Center to update your mailing address so your W-2 can reach you, and expect final pay (including vacation pay where applicable) to be available at your work location on your next regularly scheduled pay day, unless state law requires it sooner.

Home Depot portals that are now dead ends

This is where most articles about Home Depot pay stubs go wrong, so check your link against this list before you waste an afternoon. https://www.mythdhr.com/ESS.aspx redirects to an .aspx.html address that returns a 404 — the chain simply ends; the live page is https://www.mythdhr.com/ESS.html. The old Pay and Taxes address, https://www.mythdhr.com/pay-taxes/Pages/default.aspx, also redirects to an .aspx.html version; that content still loads, but the .aspx URL competitors keep republishing is no longer the canonical one, because myTHDHR was moved off SharePoint to static .html pages. livetheorangelife.com no longer serves its own content at all: it redirects to secure.livethehealthyorangelife.com and then to learn.bswift.com/orangelife, a benefits site with no payslips or payroll on it, so any page telling you to fetch a pay stub from Live the Orange Life is sending you to the wrong system entirely. And MyApron is not a public portal — myapron.homedepot.com does not resolve in DNS, and myapron.com and www.myapron.com both time out from the open internet, because MyApron is an in-store, internal-network intranet. Instructions to "log into MyApron" from your couch lead nowhere.

Locked out: who to call at Home Depot

myTHDHR names one contact for exactly this problem: if you cannot view or print your payslips or W-2 statements, contact the HR Service Center at 1-866-myTHDHR (1-866-698-4347) or [email protected], Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm ET. That is the number for a forgotten sign-in, a Workday account that will not open, a missing payslip, or an address change so a mailed W-2 arrives. Do not route this to the Benefits Choice Center at 1-800-555-4954 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm ET) — that line is for benefits questions and will not pull up a payslip. Have your dates of employment and your store or work location ready before you call; it shortens the conversation.

When someone wants proof of income, not a stub

Lenders, landlords and background screeners usually do not want a photographed payslip from Home Depot — they want a verification they can pull themselves. Home Depot uses The Work Number, an Equifax service, for wage and employment verifications, and its company code is 87843 (The Work Number's line is 1-800-367-2884). You can also request your own copy of what employers see: an Employment Data Report at https://employees.theworknumber.com/. Be clear on what that is — a verification report, not a pay stub, so it will not replace a payslip if the request specifically says "most recent pay stub." And if the income you need to document is your own rather than Home Depot's — self-employment, contract work, a small business where you pay yourself or a couple of employees — no employer portal will ever hold it, which is what a pay stub generator like ours is for: producing stubs for wages you actually pay.
