How to Get Your Pay Stub From Kaiser Permanente
Kaiser pay stubs sit under My Pay in HRconnect at hrconnect.kp.org. Here is the sign-on you need, the dead kp.org shortcuts, and the route after you leave.
Kaiser Permanente pay stubs sit behind HRconnect, at hrconnect.kp.org, under a Money & Time heading called My Pay. You sign on with your National User ID (NUID) and your KP network password, and Kaiser's own sign-on service adds a multi-factor check. The public half of HRconnect loads for anyone and shows the menu — My Pay, W-2, Time Off, Employee Discounts — but every one of those links stops at a sign-on wall. Two older shortcuts people still type, kp.org/hr and myhr.kp.org, no longer lead anywhere useful.

If you no longer work there
HRconnect runs on your KP network account, so it closes when that account is deactivated — Kaiser does not run a separate alumni portal. Sign-on also puts a multi-factor check on that same account, so a remembered password on its own will not get you back in even if the page still loads. The number Kaiser-represented union locals publish for people who have left is the National HR Service Center on 1-877-457-4772, and what it is documented as handling is a duplicate W-2: the case it is given for is someone who has left, or moved, and never received the form. For a pay stub rather than a W-2, treat that line as the place to start the question, not as a confirmed service — no Kaiser-owned page found in this check says it supplies copies of pay statements, so ask what the process is instead of assuming there is one. Have your NUID or employee number, the dates you worked, your department or facility and a current mailing address to hand before you call, and get the mailing address corrected before you lose HRconnect access rather than after, because anything that does get sent goes to whatever address your record still holds.
Addresses that no longer work
- kp.org/hr — Redirects to https://healthy.kaiserpermanente.org/front-door — Kaiser's member health site, the same front door a patient lands on. It is a real Kaiser page, so nothing looks broken, but it holds nothing about pay, HR or employment.
- myhr.kp.org — The address leads nowhere. Nothing is published behind this name, so there is no web address for a browser to reach and you get a server-not-found error. It was not redirected to HRconnect either — the old shortcut simply stops.
- kp.org/myhr — Still forwards, but never to a readable page. It goes to hrconnect.kp.org/wps/portal/hr, which bounces straight to the fam.kp.org sign-on screen, and on one attempt returned a "502 Proxy Error" instead. Go to hrconnect.kp.org directly.
Where My Pay sits inside HRconnect
Open hrconnect.kp.org and you land on a page titled My HR (Public). It carries a SIGN ON button and three column headings: Money & Time, Benefits & Wellness, and Career & Development. My Pay and W-2 both sit under Money & Time. Click either before signing on and HRconnect hands you to Kaiser's sign-on service at fam.kp.org, which wants your NUID, your KP network password, and then a multi-factor confirmation. Once you are through, pay lives on the signed-in half of the same site: the host stays hrconnect.kp.org and the path changes to a /wps/myportal/ address. If the host in your address bar is anything else, you are not on Kaiser's site.
The lookalike sites are the real hazard here
Search for KP HRconnect and much of the first page of results is not Kaiser. kphrconnect.com answers and is served by a LiteSpeed web server; kaisermyhr.org answers too; hrconnect.one does not respond at all. None of them sits on a kp.org domain, and none can show you a stub — they describe the login rather than provide it. Kaiser runs one HR host, hrconnect.kp.org, and its sign-on always hands off to fam.kp.org. Check both names in the address bar before you type a NUID anywhere. An address ending in .one, .mobi, or an .org that is not kp.org belongs to somebody else.
Frequently asked questions
What is a NUID, and where do I find mine?
NUID stands for National User ID — the single ID Kaiser Permanente issues for network and HR sign-on. It is not your employee number, and HRconnect will not accept an employee number in its place. It is the ID you use for KP email and for a workstation, handed to you when you started. If you have never had a workstation login, your department's HR contact can look the NUID up for you.
Can I still pull a pay stub after I leave Kaiser Permanente?
Not through HRconnect. Sign-on runs on your KP network account, so when that account is deactivated the portal closes to you, and Kaiser does not operate an alumni version of the site. The number to start from is the National HR Service Center on 1-877-457-4772, which is published as the route for requesting a duplicate W-2. Whether the same line can produce copies of individual pay statements is not stated on any Kaiser-owned page found in this check, so ask rather than assume — and be ready with your NUID, your dates of employment and the facility you worked at when you do.
Why does kp.org/hr open a page about health plans?
Because that shortcut now points at healthy.kaiserpermanente.org, Kaiser's member site — the same front door a patient sees. It is a genuine Kaiser page, which is exactly why it fools people, but it holds nothing about pay or employment. The more specific kp.org/myhr shortcut does still aim at HRconnect, though it lands on the sign-on screen and has returned a proxy error on occasion. Typing hrconnect.kp.org directly avoids both.
