How to Get Your Pay Stub From Macy's

Macy's pay stubs are in My IN-SITE at hr.macys.net/insite, not employeeconnection.net. The working address, and the number former colleagues must call.

Macy's pay stubs are inside My IN-SITE, which lives at hr.macys.net/insite — not on employeeconnection.net, and not at insite.macys.net, which is not a real address at all. Signing in hands you to Macy's own SSO at login.macys.net on a realm named InSiteRealm. The portal serves Macy's and Bloomingdale's colleagues together and covers pay, benefits and company news. Former colleagues cannot log in at all; Macy's routes them to the Colleague Support Center on 1-800-234-6229 instead.

If you no longer work there

Macy's draws a hard line: My IN-SITE is for active colleagues. Its own Ask a Question page tells former colleagues to contact the Colleague Support Center on 1-800-234-6229. That is the only contact Macy's publishes for people who have left, so it is where the question goes — but the page says only to contact them, not what the line can produce. Ask for copies of your pay statements by name, and ask how and when they would arrive, because Macy's publishes no method and no timescale for that and you should not plan around one you were not given. W-2s are the one self-service exception, and Macy's does spell that out: go to mytaxform.com, enter 10260 in the Employer Name / Code field, then sign in with an existing user ID or register one. Do not assume that covers stubs — Tax Form Management holds tax forms, not payroll statements. If you are still on staff and leaving soon, save the stubs you will need while MyHR is still open to you; once it closes you are down to one phone number and whatever that line turns out to offer.

Addresses that no longer work

  • insite.macys.net — There is no such address — it does not exist, so a browser returns a server-not-found error rather than forwarding you anywhere. This is the address most third-party Macy's guides print. The working host is hr.macys.net, with /insite on the end.
  • myinsite.macys.com — Also not a real address, and neither is insite.macys.com. Both fail before a connection is even attempted, on http and https alike.
  • employeeconnection.net/insite — Still loads with HTTP 200, but it is a 2017-dated links page titled "Paycheck Tools, W-2s and More", not the portal. It offers outbound links to credit unions and tax sites rather than any stub, and two of those links are themselves dead.
  • verify.theworknumber.com — No response at all — the address exists and points at a server, but repeated attempts on both http and https time out without returning anything. It is still linked from Macy's own Employee Connection paycheck page. The Work Number's current entrance for employees is employees.theworknumber.com.

My IN-SITE moved, and picked up two new names

Load hr.macys.net/insite and you get a logon page branded Macy's HR Technology, with two tiles under the heading Your HR Portal: MyHR, described as your self-service destination, and AskHR, your connection with your HR team. Pay sits under MyHR; AskHR is how you raise a case. The sign-in link goes to login.macys.net on a realm called InSiteRealm, so watching the address change from macys.net to login.macys.net mid-login is normal, not a redirect to worry about. The page says outright that it is built for Macy's and Bloomingdale's colleagues and covers the benefit program, paycheck and company news.

Employee Connection still exists, and it is not the portal

employeeconnection.net is a live Macy's site: its homepage carries a 2026 copyright and links across to hr.macys.net/insite. But its own Paycheck Tools, W-2s and More page is frozen at 2017, and the links on it show their age. The Work Number address it points to, verify.theworknumber.com, no longer answers on http or https, and its IRS link still uses the long-retired irs.ustreas.gov domain. Treat Employee Connection as a signpost rather than a destination. The one page on it worth keeping is Ask a Question, which does carry the current former-colleague phone number.

Frequently asked questions

Is Employee Connection the same as My IN-SITE?

No. employeeconnection.net is Macy's public information site — benefits summaries, forms, links — and anyone can open it. My IN-SITE is the signed-in portal at hr.macys.net/insite where pay actually lives. Employee Connection links across to it, which is why the two get confused. Its Paycheck Tools page has not been updated since 2017 and several links on it are broken, so use the site to find the portal, not to find a stub.

What is employer code 10260 for?

It identifies Macy's on mytaxform.com, the Equifax Tax Form Management site. Macy's tells former colleagues to enter 10260 in the Employer Name / Code field there, then sign in with an existing user ID or register one. That gets you W-2s and 1095-Cs — tax forms, not pay stubs. Active colleagues never need the code: they reach the same site automatically from the My Policies & Resources tab inside My IN-SITE.

I've left Macy's and a landlord wants proof of pay. What now?

Call the Colleague Support Center on 1-800-234-6229 and ask for copies of your pay statements. That number is what Macy's publishes for former colleagues, because My IN-SITE closes with your employment — but Macy's does not state what the line can send or how long it takes, so ask both on the call rather than waiting to find out. If a landlord will take a W-2 as interim evidence, mytaxform.com with code 10260 is immediate. A pay stub generator is for documenting work you are doing now, not for recreating a Macy's record.
