Addresses that no longer work

• AccessMCD portal (accessmcd.com) — Does not resolve — there is no website there at all. WebFetch returns "getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND accessmcd.com"; dig against 8.8.8.8 returns no A record for accessmcd.com and NXDOMAIN for www.accessmcd.com. The domain is still McDonald's (authoritative NS pdns1.cscdns.net / pdns2.cscdns.net, SOA mcddns.mcd.com, registrar CSC Corporate Domains, created 2000-12-19, expiry 2026-12-19) but publishes no A record and no MX. The "AccessMCD" name survives only as the label for McDonald's identity/eID system, which is now reached at https://account.mcd.com/. This is the single most-republished wrong URL for McDonald's: competitor pay-stub sites still tell crew to "log in at accessmcd.com", and anyone who types it gets a DNS failure.
• OurLounge (McDonald's UK crew portal) — ourlounge.co.uk — The domain has left McDonald's and is now a domain broker's sales listing. HTTPS on the original host fails certificate validation outright ("Host: ourlounge.co.uk is not in the cert's altnames: DNS:buydomainnames.co.uk"). Loaded in a browser it lands on https://buydomainnames.co.uk, page title "Domain name ourlounge.co.uk (ourlounge) is for sale at BuyDomainNames.co.uk", body text "This domain name is currently under offer!" and "We acquired this domain name in 2024." It resolves to 138.68.116.54; ourlounge.mcdonalds.com is NXDOMAIN. Anyone still publishing OurLounge as a McDonald's login is sending staff to type work credentials into a third-party domain-sales page. (OurLounge was the UK/AU-market name, never a US portal — worth a one-line caution rather than a headline on a US page.)
• Lawson HR & Payroll (McDonald's North America HR/payroll system) — Retired. McDonald's moved "its North American Human Capital Management (HCM) solution from Lawson HR & Payroll to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM", live July 2021, deploying "Core HR, Time & Attendance, Payroll, Absence Management" (questoraclecommunity.org case write-up, HTTP 200). A McDonald's Corporation employee's pay statements now sit in Oracle Cloud HCM self-service behind the account.mcd.com SSO. There is no public Oracle URL to publish — do not invent one.
• "Paperless Employee" McDonald's portal — HTTP 404 Not Found. The parent site https://www.paperlessemployee.com/ is live (HTTP 200, run by Experian Employer Services) but has no McDonald's instance; it says a user needs "The PaperlessEmployee.com website address provided by your employer" in the form https://www.paperlessemployee.com/<COMPANYNAME>, and to contact HR/Payroll otherwise. Related trap: https://paperlesspay.talx.com/mcdonalds returns a generic Equifax "Paperless Pay Login" that ignores the /mcdonalds path and demands an employer code — it is not a McDonald's-specific portal, despite third-party blogs presenting it as one.
• McHire described as the McDonald's payroll / pay-stub system — Live, but it is hiring software, not payroll — the conflation is the error. https://www.mchire.com/home returns HTTP 301 to https://signup.mchire.com/, which describes itself as "the candidate-centric hiring software built specifically for McDonald's Restaurant Owners" and is footered "©2016–2025 McHire by Paradox" (operated by Paradox, not McDonald's). There are no pay stubs, earnings statements or W-2s in McHire. Multiple competitor pages assert "corporate employees get pay stubs at account.mcd.com (McHire)" — that sentence fuses two unrelated systems: account.mcd.com is McDonald's ADFS single sign-on, McHire is an applicant-tracking product.
• McDonald's HR mailing address "1 McDonald's Plaza, Oak Brook, IL 60523" — Outdated by roughly eight years — McDonald's left Oak Brook for Chicago's West Loop in 2018. McDonald's own address page https://corporate.mcdonalds.com/corpmcd/address.html (HTTP 200) reads verbatim "McDonald's Corporation 110 N. Carpenter St. Chicago, IL 60607", repeated on https://corporate.mcdonalds.com/corpmcd/contact.html (HTTP 200). Several pay-stub blogs still tell former employees to mail W-2 and employment-verification requests to Oak Brook.

The company that pays you is probably not McDonald's Corporation

McDonald's own business FAQ states it plainly: "Ninety percent of McDonald's restaurants are independently owned and operated by franchisees." That franchise company is your employer of record. It runs payroll, it picks the payroll vendor, and it issues your pay stub and your W-2. McDonald's franchisee privacy notice (last updated May 2026) says the same thing in one sentence: "If you are an employee of a Franchisee, please contact your employer for information on their privacy practices." You can see the consequence in real franchise organizations. GFM LLC, a McDonald's franchise organization in Montana, sends its crew to an EnterTimeOnline sign-in and an app called HCMToGo, with instructions that read "To see a copy of the full paystub for a specific Pay Statement, click on the blue 'Pay Statement' link." Darmody Family McDonald's sends its crew somewhere else entirely — a different EnterTimeOnline account and Mize Houser's MyPay. AllianceHCM markets its own MyPay product to the same market, saying its "system is built to meet the unique needs of McDonald's Owner/Operators." Same golden arches, different logins. So the first step is never a URL; it is the employer name on your stub.

What account.mcd.com is, and what it is not

account.mcd.com is McDonald's employee single sign-on — the identity system still commonly called AccessMCD or eID. Loading it redirects to McDonald's own ADFS endpoint at gas.mcd.com, the page title is "MCD login," and it asks you to pick a role before anything else: "Crew" (Crew Members & Crew Trainers), "Restaurant Managers & Franchisees" (Franchisees, Franchisee Office Staff and Restaurant Managers), or "McDonald's Corporate" (Employees, Consultants and Suppliers). It is an identity gateway, not a payroll site, and that distinction is the whole point of this page: crew at a franchised restaurant use that login for McDonald's-provided systems, while their pay statements sit in their franchisee's payroll system. For McDonald's Corporation employees, North American HR and payroll have run on Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM since July 2021 — Core HR, Time & Attendance, Payroll and Absence Management — after moving off Lawson HR & Payroll. That self-service sits behind the sign-on above and has no public address of its own, so any site handing you a direct link to it made the link up.

Locked out of the McDonald's login: who to call

McDonald's publishes its own login help, and for the United States it is specific about who handles what. Crew members, verbatim: "Please contact your restaurant manager who can help acces user account information in Global Account Manager" — the typo is in the original. Restaurant managers and non-crew staff are told to contact their organization's management team first, and that "If additional technical assistance is needed, please contact the ATOS help desk at +01-800-515-3636," with the caveat that ATOS service calls may carry additional charges. Corporate employees, and general questions, go to the Global Corporate Technology Service Desk at +01-630-623-5000, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The password reset address McDonald's gives is https://account.mcd.com/manage/reset/. One caution about scope: these are identity help desks. They can restore access to a McDonald's account; they cannot produce a pay stub for someone employed by a franchisee. If a paycheck is missing or wrong at a franchised restaurant, the route is your general manager first, then the franchise organization's payroll office.

Addresses other sites still send you to that no longer work

accessmcd.com is the big one. There is no website there at all — the domain publishes no A record, and www.accessmcd.com returns NXDOMAIN, so typing it produces a DNS failure, not a login page. The name is still registered to McDonald's, but "AccessMCD" now survives only as the label for the identity system reached at https://account.mcd.com/. ourlounge.co.uk is worse than dead: it has left McDonald's, its HTTPS certificate is issued for buydomainnames.co.uk, and the page is a domain broker's sales listing reading "This domain name is currently under offer!" and "We acquired this domain name in 2024." It was the UK and Australia crew portal name in the first place, never a US one, so nobody should be typing work credentials into it. paperlessemployee.com/mcdonalds returns a 404 — the parent site, run by Experian Employer Services, is live but has no McDonald's instance and requires the specific address your employer gives you; and paperlesspay.talx.com/mcdonalds simply ignores the path and shows a generic Equifax login demanding an employer code, despite blogs presenting it as a McDonald's portal. McHire is real but is not payroll: mchire.com/home redirects to signup.mchire.com, which calls itself "the candidate-centric hiring software built specifically for McDonald's Restaurant Owners" and is footered "©2016–2025 McHire by Paradox." Lawson HR & Payroll is retired. And "1 McDonald's Plaza, Oak Brook, IL 60523" is about eight years stale — McDonald's own address page now reads "McDonald's Corporation 110 N. Carpenter St. Chicago, IL 60607."

If you have already left McDonald's

There is no McDonald's-wide former-employee pay stub site, so work through it in order. First, identify who actually employed you: the company name printed on your old stub or W-2, not the words "McDonald's." If it reads like a franchise company, that company holds your payroll records and McDonald's Corporation cannot pull them for you. Second, if you still have working credentials, sign in to the payroll system that franchisee used — Asure/EnterTimeOnline, HCMToGo, Mize Houser MyPay, ADP and Paycom all turn up in real franchisee materials as examples — and download the pay statements and W-2s from there. Third, if the login is gone, contact that franchise organization's payroll or HR office and ask for copies covering the exact pay dates you need; have your full name, the restaurant number, your dates of employment and a current mailing address ready. One Florida McDonald's franchise organization tells its former employees its W-2 "is mailed on January 31st to the last known address on file," which is the usual reason a form never arrives. Fourth, if the franchise office is unreachable, the restaurant itself is the fallback: McDonald's official corporate contact page lists no HR, payroll, W-2 or pay stub route at all and routes location-specific questions to the individual restaurant through its Restaurant Locator. Only if you held a McDonald's Corporation role does the corporation itself hold your records, at 110 N. Carpenter St., Chicago, IL 60607.
