How to Get Your Pay Stub From Southwest Airlines

Southwest pay stubs start at SWALife, now a SharePoint site behind Microsoft sign-in, with payslips in Workday. Plus the dead links and the leaver's route.

Southwest Employees start at SWALife, but it is no longer a portal of its own. swalife.com now redirects to wnco.sharepoint.com/sites/SWALife and then to Microsoft's sign-in page, so SWALife is a SharePoint Online site and the credentials it wants are your Southwest work account. Payslips themselves are produced in Workday, a separate system from the SWALife site; the Flight Attendants' union puts that only indirectly, writing in its own payroll FAQ that it has no access to Workday or to its members' payslips. Flight Attendants also use Crew Web Access at swacrew.com, where the monthly Payroll Report lives - a different document from a payslip.

If you no longer work there

SWALife authenticates against a live Southwest work account, so it stops working when the account is deprovisioned. Download your payslips from Workday before your last day — that is the only step entirely within your control. Afterwards, Southwest publishes one route that does not depend on that account: the Personal Information Request process in its Careers Privacy Policy (fetched, effective July 2, 2025), which says you may "email us at [email protected], or call us at 1-800-435-9792", that Southwest will "take reasonable steps to verify your identity prior to responding", and that it "may deny your request, or fulfill a request only in part" where it has legal grounds. It is a records route rather than a payroll desk, so ask for named pay periods and explain what you need them for. Flight Attendants have one extra option: TWU Local 556 publishes an Inflight Payroll Audit contact ([email protected], 214-792-6160) for questions about a pairing's pay — that is the union's published contact, not a general HR line.

Addresses that no longer work

  • swalife.com/employeeservices (the deep link most articles print) — Never reaches Employee Services. The F5 BIG-IP appliance in front of swalife.com answers HTTP 302 to /my.policy, then 302 to /my.logout.php3?errorcode=19, ending on a page titled "BIG-IP logout page". swalife.com/workday does exactly the same thing. Any instruction of the form "go to swalife.com/employeeservices" produces a logout screen, not a portal — you have to enter through the site root and sign in.
  • myswalife.com — Does not exist — not as a dead page, but as a name: nothing anywhere on the internet answers to it, so a browser cannot even find an address to try and stops with "server not found". www.myswalife.com is the same. Southwest has no My-prefixed portal domain, so every article built on that spelling has been sending readers nowhere since the day it was written.
  • wnco.com (Southwest's corporate domain) — Southwest's corporate name genuinely lives here — staff email addresses end @wnco.com, and SWALife's own DNS trail runs through global-swalife.wnco.com — but the domain serves no website. The name itself exists; it just publishes no web address, so there is nothing for a browser to open and the page never loads. www.wnco.com does not exist at all. Treat wnco.com as an email name, not a way in.

SWALife is a SharePoint site now

Follow the redirects and SWALife stops looking mysterious. swalife.com sends you to www.swalife.com, which sends you to wnco.sharepoint.com/sites/SWALife, which hands off to Microsoft's sign-in for Southwest's tenant; in a browser you simply land on Sign in to your account. The DNS trail runs through global-swalife.wnco.com, Southwest's own corporate domain, which is how you can tell the address is really Southwest's. For payslips, TWU Local 556, the union representing Southwest Flight Attendants, wrote in its payroll FAQ that it has no access to Workday or its members' payslips and that Southwest promised Workday guidance on SWALife.

The deep links that only produce a logout page

Deep links to SWALife do not survive. Request swalife.com/employeeservices, the path most articles print, and the F5 appliance in front of the site answers with a redirect to /my.policy, another to /my.logout.php3 with errorcode 19, and a page titled BIG-IP logout page. swalife.com/workday behaves identically. So does myswalife.com, except worse: that name does not exist at all, so a browser cannot even find an address to try. Even wnco.com, the name in every Southwest email address, serves no website - the name exists but publishes no web address, and www.wnco.com does not exist either. Only the plain swalife.com entry point, signed into with your Southwest account, gets you anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Why does swalife.com send me to a Microsoft login?

Because SWALife is hosted on SharePoint Online now. The redirect chain runs from swalife.com to wnco.sharepoint.com/sites/SWALife, then into Microsoft's authentication for Southwest's tenant, so the sign-in box you see is Microsoft's rather than a Southwest-branded portal page. That is expected behaviour, not a phishing redirect - but check that the address bar reads login.microsoftonline.com before typing anything, and never sign in from a link in an email.

Are Southwest payslips in SWALife or in Workday?

Both, in different roles. SWALife is the entry point you sign into, and Workday is where the payslip itself is produced; TWU Local 556, the Southwest Flight Attendants' union, states in its own payroll FAQ that it cannot see members' payslips because those live in Workday, and that Southwest committed to publishing Workday guidance on SWALife. Flight Attendants' monthly Payroll Report is a separate report inside Crew Web Access at swacrew.com.

How can a former Southwest Employee get old pay records?

Download them before your last day, because SWALife needs a live Southwest work account. Afterwards, Southwest's Careers Privacy Policy gives a route that does not depend on that account: a personal information request by email to [email protected] or by phone on 1-800-435-9792. Southwest says it verifies identity first and may fulfil a request only in part. It is a records route, not a payroll desk, so name the exact pay periods you need.
