How to Get Your Pay Stub from Target
Get your Target pay stub from Workday at wd5.myworkday.com/target. Former team members: W-2s via Paperless Employee, stubs via HR at 1-800-394-1885.
If you currently work at Target, your pay statements are in Workday at https://wd5.myworkday.com/target — that is the system Target itself points team members to for pay statements. If you no longer work there, the picture changes: Target's Paperless Employee portal (https://www.paperlessemployee.com/target) carries only year-end tax statements like your W-2, not per-period pay stubs, so for an actual historical stub you need to call Target's HR Operations Center at 1-800-394-1885. Several portals other sites still recommend for Target pay stubs no longer exist at all, which is covered below.

If you no longer work there
For year-end tax documents (W-2, 1095-C): go to https://www.paperlessemployee.com/target and log in, or create an account. Account creation requires your 10-digit team member number, your date of birth and your Social Security number. Target notes your team member number is printed at the top of your pay stub. Then choose Year-End Statements, click Show All Years, tick the W-2 form(s) you want, and click Download (PDF). Electronic access is free through October 15 of the filing year; Target says fees apply after that date. Important limitation, confirmed by fetching the portal: Target's Paperless Employee tenant exposes only "Year-End Tax Statements" - it does not carry per-period pay stubs, and individual pay statements live in Workday, which former team members lose access to when employment ends. So for an actual historical pay stub (as opposed to a W-2), a former team member should call Target's HR Operations Center at 1-800-394-1885 and request it. Target publishes that number on its own team member services page for Paperless Employee and W-2 help.
Addresses that no longer work
- Target eHR — Hostname does not resolve at all (NXDOMAIN). Confirmed against two independent public resolvers: dig @8.8.8.8 and dig @1.1.1.1 both return no A record; curl fails with "Could not resolve host: ehr.target.com" (exit 6, http_code 000). This is the single most-republished dead Target portal - competitor pay-stub blogs still describe "Target eHR" as a live employee portal for pay stubs and schedules. It is not reachable.
- Workday on a Target-owned hostname — Hostname does not resolve (NXDOMAIN) on both 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1; curl exit 6, http_code 000. Target's Workday tenant is hosted on Workday's own infrastructure at wd5.myworkday.com/target, never on a target.com subdomain. Competitor guides titled things like "Workday Portal Guide" imply a Target-branded Workday login host that has never existed publicly.
- Target Pay & Benefits (TargetPayandBenefits.com) — Still resolves but 301 Moved Permanently -> https://digital.alight.com/tgt (verified for both the www and apex forms, and for deep paths: /tax-center also collapses to the same Alight landing page). The destination is Alight's benefits platform, page title "Your Benefits Resources -- Greeting Page" - a benefits portal, not a payroll/pay-stub system. Worth flagging precisely: this name is retired-and-redirected rather than dead, and Target's own Paperless Employee banner still references "www.TargetPayandBenefits.com" for the "Tax Center" Quick Link. But anyone sent here expecting pay stubs lands on a benefits site.
- Target HR self-service subdomains (hr.target.com / myhr.target.com / payandbenefits.target.com / teammemberservices.target.com) — None of these resolve (NXDOMAIN, curl exit 6 / http_code 000); hr.target.com and myhr.target.com were re-confirmed against both 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1. The real canonical entry point is https://www.target.com/team, which 301s to https://www.target.com/c/team-member-services/-/N-4srq9 (HTTP 200).
- mytime-target.me (third-party lookalike, not Target) — NOT a Target property. WHOIS shows Creation Date 2026-06-03, Registrar NameCheap, Registrant Organization "Privacy service provided by Withheld for Privacy ehf" - a privacy-shielded domain registered in 2026, appearing in search results with articles like "How Do I Get My Old Pay Stubs From Target?". Target's genuine myTime host is mytime.target.com, which resolves to sites.target.map.fastly.net (Target's Fastly CDN) and returns HTTP 200. Also checked: mytime-target.me's sibling lookalike www.mytimetarget.com returns 200 by curl but fails TLS chain validation ("unable to get local issuer certificate") and is not on a target.com domain - do not publish either as an official route.
Current team members: Workday
Target's payroll system for active team members is Workday, at https://wd5.myworkday.com/target. You can also reach it from Target's own hub for team members: https://www.target.com/team, which forwards to Target's Team Member Services page. On that page, the button that opens Workday is described as giving you access to "your team member profile, pay statements & HR resources." A detail worth checking before you click a link someone sent you: Target's Workday tenant lives on Workday's own infrastructure, on the wd5 pod. Other Workday pods do not host Target — wd1, wd3 and wd10 addresses using a "target" tenant name go nowhere and land on a Workday error page. If a link you were given is not wd5.myworkday.com/target, it is not Target's payroll login. If you are on leave, you are still treated as a current team member for portal access purposes. Target's Paperless Employee page states that current team members, including those on leave, should reach tax forms by logging into Workday and clicking Tax Forms (W-2, W-4) under External Links.
Former team members: what you can and cannot get online
This is the part most guides get wrong, so be precise about what you actually need. For year-end tax documents (W-2, 1095-C), go to https://www.paperlessemployee.com/target and log in, or create an account. Creating an account requires your 10-digit team member number, your date of birth and your Social Security number. Target notes that your team member number is printed at the top of your pay stub, so an old stub is the fastest way to find it. Once you are in, choose Year-End Statements, click Show All Years, tick the W-2 forms you want, and click Download for a PDF. Target says electronic access is free through October 15 of the filing year and that fees apply after that date. For an actual pay stub, Paperless Employee will not help. Target's Paperless Employee site lists exactly one document category in its My Forms Center: "Year-End Tax Statements." There is no pay-stub category there. Individual pay statements live in Workday. So if you need a specific historical pay stub rather than a W-2, call Target's HR Operations Center at 1-800-394-1885 and request it. One more thing former team members should know: Target states that all current and former team members receive a wage statement each January, and that for former team members, W-2s are mailed to the home address on file in Workday as of December 31. If you moved after leaving, that is where a missing W-2 usually went.
Portals that no longer work (and that other sites still list)
A lot of pay-stub advice about Target is years out of date and sends people to hostnames that do not resolve. Verified against public DNS resolvers, here is what is actually dead: Target eHR (ehr.target.com) — does not resolve at all. No DNS record on either 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1; a browser or curl request fails before it can even connect. This is the single most-republished dead Target portal: competitor pay-stub blogs still describe "Target eHR" as a live employee portal for pay stubs and schedules. It is not reachable. workday.target.com — does not resolve. Target's Workday tenant has never been on a target.com subdomain; it is on Workday's own infrastructure at wd5.myworkday.com/target. Guides implying a Target-branded Workday login host are describing something that has not existed publicly. hr.target.com, myhr.target.com, payandbenefits.target.com, teammemberservices.target.com — none of these resolve. The real canonical entry point is https://www.target.com/team, which forwards to Target's Team Member Services page. TargetPayandBenefits.com — this one is different: it still resolves, but it permanently redirects to https://digital.alight.com/tgt, Alight's benefits platform. Deep paths collapse to the same landing page. It is a benefits portal, not a payroll or pay-stub system, so anyone sent there expecting stubs will not find them. Target's own Paperless Employee banner still references this name for a "Tax Center" quick link, which is why the old name keeps circulating. Finally, be careful with lookalike domains. A privacy-shielded domain registered in 2026 through NameCheap, mytime-target.me, shows up in search results with articles like "How Do I Get My Old Pay Stubs From Target?" It is not a Target property. A sibling lookalike, mytimetarget.com, is not on a target.com domain and fails TLS certificate chain validation. Do not enter Target credentials, your team member number or your SSN on either.
Locked out or the portal will not let you in
Target publishes one number for portal and W-2 access problems: the HR Operations Center at 1-800-394-1885. Target's Team Member Services page states it plainly — for help accessing your W-2 on Paperless Employee, contact Target's HR Operations Center at 1-800-394-1885. That is also the route to request an actual historical pay stub if you no longer have Workday access. For tax questions about the content of a W-2 rather than access to it, Target directs people to the IRS at 1-800-829-1040. That is a different problem from being locked out and a different phone call. Before you call, have your 10-digit team member number ready if you can find it — it is printed at the top of your pay stub. If you have any old stub, physical or digital, that number will speed up every conversation.
If you need a stub and no official copy exists
Sometimes there is no official document to retrieve. If you are self-employed, run a small business and pay yourself or others, or work as a contractor, no employer portal is holding a stub for you — you have to produce your own payroll records. That is what a pay stub generator is for: you enter your real pay data and it formats a clean, calculated stub you can hand to a landlord, lender or accountant. Be clear about the boundary. A generator is for documenting income you actually earned, under your own name or your own business's name. It is not a way to reproduce a Target document. If the pay in question was earned at Target, the record belongs to Target, and the routes above — Workday while you are employed, the HR Operations Center at 1-800-394-1885 afterward — are the only legitimate ways to get it. Creating a document that presents itself as issued by an employer you worked for is fraud, and no tool changes that.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my Target pay stub online?
Current Target team members access pay statements through Workday at https://wd5.myworkday.com/target. You can reach the same login from Target's own team member hub at https://www.target.com/team, where the Workday button is described as giving access to your team member profile, pay statements and HR resources. That is the only pay-statement route Target publishes on its own site.
Can I still get pay stubs from Target after I quit?
Not through a self-service portal. Target's Paperless Employee tenant lists only "Year-End Tax Statements" in its My Forms Center — W-2 and similar documents, with no pay-stub category — and individual pay statements live in Workday. To request an actual historical pay stub after leaving, call Target's HR Operations Center at 1-800-394-1885.
How do I get my Target W-2?
Go to https://www.paperlessemployee.com/target and log in or create an account, then choose Year-End Statements, click Show All Years, tick the W-2 you want and click Download. Creating an account requires your 10-digit team member number, your date of birth and your Social Security number. Electronic access is free through October 15 of the filing year, and Target says fees apply after that. Current team members, including those on leave, should instead log into Workday and click Tax Forms (W-2, W-4) under External Links.
Is Target eHR still the employee portal?
No. The hostname ehr.target.com does not resolve at all — there is no DNS record for it on public resolvers, so nothing loads. It is the most frequently republished dead Target portal in third-party pay-stub guides, but it has not been a working route for some time. Use Workday at https://wd5.myworkday.com/target instead.
What about TargetPayandBenefits.com?
That address still works but permanently redirects to https://digital.alight.com/tgt, Alight's benefits platform. It is a benefits portal, not a payroll system, so it will not show you pay stubs. Target's own Paperless Employee page still references the old name for a Tax Center quick link, which is why people keep being sent there.
Who do I call if I cannot log in?
Target's HR Operations Center at 1-800-394-1885. Target publishes that number on its Team Member Services page specifically for help accessing your W-2 on Paperless Employee, and it is also the route for requesting a historical pay stub after you leave. For questions about what is on your W-2 rather than access to it, Target directs people to the IRS at 1-800-829-1040.
