• MyWendys / "my.wendys.com employee login" — widely published as a Wendy's payroll and benefits portal — Redirects away from any employee system entirely. Fetched: 3 redirects, final URL https://order.wendys.com/us/en/select-restaurant, HTTP 200 — this is Wendy's CUSTOMER food-ordering site asking you to pick a restaurant. Bare https://my.wendys.com behaves identically (3 redirects to the same ordering page). There is no login for pay stubs here. Competitor pages stating "my.wendys.com/login provides access to payroll and employee benefits" are simply wrong.
• gp1.wendys.com — published by competitors as an "alternate portal" that "some franchise groups route employees through" — Not a payroll portal and never was — it is a corporate VPN gateway. Fetched: HTTP 200, 0 redirects, Content-Length 170, headers X-FRAME-OPTIONS: DENY and a strict CSP. The entire body is a JavaScript redirect: window.location="/global-protect/login.esp" — the signature of a Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect VPN appliance. Sending employees here is actively bad advice: it is restricted network infrastructure, not an employee self-service site.
• mywendys.com — cited as a Wendy's employee portal domain — Not owned or operated by Wendy's. Fetched: HTTP 200, 0 redirects. The page has no Wendy's branding and no login — it loads FingerprintJS, builds a browser fingerprint and bounces the visitor via a tracking URL (redirect_link = 'http://mywendys.com/?tr_uuid=...&' then redirect('fp=' + result.visitorId)), behind a "Click here to enter" interstitial. This is a parked/monetized tracking domain. www.mywendys.com behaves the same. Employees should not enter credentials here. (Unrelated note: "My Wendy's" is also the trade name of franchisee Starboard Management Group, named in DailyPay's case study — the similarity makes this squat especially misleading.)
• careers.wendys.com — Wendy's careers site on its own domain — Redirects off the wendys.com domain: HTTP 302 → https://wendys-careers.com/, which returns HTTP 200 with <title>Careers Home - Wendy's Careers</title>. The careers property was moved to a separate hostname. Worth noting because it is a hiring site, not a pay-stub site — it will not retrieve earnings statements either way.
• Assorted invented Wendy's HR/payroll hostnames that appear in listicles — Does not exist — DNS NXDOMAIN, "Could not resolve host: myhr.wendys.com", HTTP 000. The same NXDOMAIN result was returned for hr.wendys.com, payroll.wendys.com, paystub.wendys.com, employees.wendys.com, welearn.wendys.com, wendys.taleo.net, wendys.workday.com, wendys.dayforcehcm.com, wendyspayroll.com and wendysemployee.com. On the real wendys.com site, /paystub and /employee-login both return HTTP 404. None of these are typos to fix — the hostnames were never registered.
• Pre-2019 franchisee payroll records (illustrates the era-split trap, verified at one named Wendy's operator) — Page live, HTTP 200. Primary Aim LLC (Central Ohio Wendy's franchisee) splits its own records: statements from 2018 onward are at "access.paylocity.com/", while anything older is not online — the page instructs former employees to "contact Payroll Dept. at 740-454-2568 for W-2 before 2019." The general lesson for the page: a franchisee's payroll system change creates a hard cutoff, and stubs from before the switch usually require a phone call, not a login.

First, work out who actually employed you

This one question decides everything else, and it is the step every other page skips. Per The Wendy's Company 10-K filed February 23, 2026, the system had 7,397 restaurants worldwide and 5,969 in the US, of which 5,546 were run by 203 franchisees and only 423 by the Company itself; corporate employs roughly 14,900 people. The same filing states that "Wendy's does not select or employ personnel on behalf of franchisees." In practice that means the odds are strongly against Wendy's corporate having your timecards, your stubs or your W-2 — a separate legal company does, and its name is on your W-2 in box c along with its EIN. Write that name and EIN down before you make a single phone call, because it is what tells you which payroll office and which payroll provider to chase. If the name on your W-2 is Quality Is Our Recipe, LLC or The Wendy's Company, you were a corporate or company-restaurant employee and the corporate route below applies. If it is anything else — an operator name you may never have seen on a sign — you worked for a franchisee, and every corporate phone number on the internet will only send you back to them.

WeConnect: Wendy's real employee sign-on

The one Wendy's employee portal that genuinely exists is WeConnect at https://weconnect.wendys.com. Loading it redirects to Wendy's own single sign-on at sso.wendys.com, which runs PingFederate and requires multi-factor authentication; the sign-in page reads "Welcome to WeConnect!" and "Please Login.", asks for a User ID and Password, and offers "Change Password?" and "Can't access your account?" links. The footer identifies the operator as Quality Is Our Recipe, LLC at One Dave Thomas Boulevard, Dublin, OH 43017, phone (614) 764-3100. Everything past that login screen is behind authentication, so what any individual account can reach inside depends on the access that account was given — treat WeConnect as the sign-on door to Wendy's internal systems, not as a guaranteed pay-stub download page. Its own help text names two contacts: "Wendy's Company and franchise users should contact the Wendy's PC Help Desk at" [email protected], and "Wendy's Company restaurant users should contact the Wendy's Restaurant Help Desk at" [email protected]. Both are IT and account-access desks, not a payroll records office, so they can help you get back into an account you already have — they cannot mail a franchise employee their earnings statements.

Wendy's URLs that will never give you a pay stub

Other sites still publish these, and following them wastes time or is actively risky. my.wendys.com/login is not an employee login at all: it redirects three times and lands on https://order.wendys.com/us/en/select-restaurant, the customer food-ordering site asking you to pick a restaurant; the bare domain my.wendys.com does exactly the same. gp1.wendys.com is described in listicles as an alternate franchise portal, but it is a corporate VPN gateway — the page body is a single JavaScript redirect to /global-protect/login.esp, the signature of a Palo Alto Networks GlobalProtect appliance, and it sends back DENY frame options and a strict content-security policy. mywendys.com is not Wendy's at all: it carries no Wendy's branding and no login, and instead loads FingerprintJS behind a "Click here to enter" interstitial to build a browser fingerprint and bounce you through a tracking link, so never enter credentials there. careers.wendys.com now 302-redirects off the wendys.com domain to wendys-careers.com, which is a hiring site and holds no earnings statements. And a long list of HR-sounding hostnames simply never existed and return DNS failures, including myhr.wendys.com, hr.wendys.com, payroll.wendys.com, paystub.wendys.com, employees.wendys.com, wendyspayroll.com and wendysemployee.com; on the real site, wendys.com/paystub and wendys.com/employee-login both return 404. These are not typos you can correct — the hostnames were never registered.

Getting an old stub after you have left

Start with the payroll provider you were already using while employed, because access often survives separation for a while and your old login may simply still work — sign in on that provider's own employee site, not through anything Wendy's-branded, and download the statements. Which provider that is comes from your stub or your former employer, not from a generic list: for example, the Central Ohio franchisee Primary Aim LLC publishes a records page pointing employees to access.paylocity.com for statements from 2018 onward. If your login is gone, contact the franchisee's payroll or HR office directly: call the restaurant or the operator's office, ask which payroll company they use and who handles records requests, and give them your dates of employment and the last four of your Social Security number so they can find you. Expect an era split. Primary Aim's own page shows how it works in practice — anything before their 2019 system change is not online at all, and the page tells former employees to "contact Payroll Dept. at 740-454-2568 for W-2 before 2019." If you worked at a company-operated restaurant or at the Dublin, Ohio support center, that is when the corporate route applies: [email protected] for account access, or the corporate line at (614) 764-3100.

When nobody answers: the IRS route, and your own records

If a former employer goes quiet and the missing document is your W-2, IRS Topic 154 sets out the path: contact the employer first, and if it is still unresolved by the end of February you may call the IRS at 800-829-1040 so they can contact the employer on your behalf. Have your name, address, phone number, Social Security number, your employment dates and an estimate of wages and withholding ready. If the filing deadline arrives before the W-2 does, Form 4852 works as a substitute for the missing W-2, and Form 1040-X lets you amend the return later if the real figures turn out different. Most states also give employees a written right to request their own payroll records from a former employer, with the details varying by state, so a short written request citing your state's records law often moves faster than another phone call. None of that produces a copy of a Wendy's document, and nothing should: a stub for hours you worked at a Wendy's has to come from whoever ran that payroll.
